This one is free to play, they've recently introduced a price to it, presumably to obfuscate the fact that it's actually a free to play game.
It has all of the free to play baggage, and now a price…sort of. The base game is $72, but you can't buy it, but you can buy other packs that include the base game for $36….
Unless you get it on Epic, where it's the base game only, completely for free.
You're really just buying the in-app add-ons, but it seems they chucked a price on the base game to hide it and catch a few sales. It's possibly this that has also pushed it into being a faux "discounted game" in that spot on Epic, rather than having it dumped in with all of the other free to play games.

Interesting strategy. They‘ve made it free on various platforms these last few weeks. Was free on Epic (via Alienware), then Steam and PS+. Unsure about Xbox.
