      The first line of OP’s post mentions that - along with “qualified returning customers”, whatever they mean by that.

      I’ll find out for myself tomorrow if I meet their hoop-jumping criteria in that category though. As luck would have it, my monthly sub ends today, so I’ve cancelled it and will try using the deal link tomorrow, once I’ve presumably reverted to non-active customer status.

      If it does work, then I’ll go ahead and stack an annual sub on top and get 14 months for the price of 10 - effectively bringing my monthly installment equivalent down reasonably close to… wait for it… the standard, very recent, pre-price-hike fee of $8.99.

      They have us playing 3D Chess to not even break even…

      So you just need to make sure you don't have an active subscription is how I read it.
      Luckily my current free sub ends on the 10th of Jan.

    Anyone else having trouble with this? Says my next billing is Feb 15th, but when I click on something, it says 'start free trial', but then when I click on that, it says I already have a subscription… 🤔

      I also had a free subscription expiring yesterday - 3rd Jan.
      I’ve just gone back in now and redeemed this offer no problems to extend it until the 3rd March.
