I really love those R2E2 mangoes. I never thought I'll pay +$5,- now for a mango, but about a week ago I ended paying $7,- with no regrets.

Careful with these mangoes, had a few incidents where it appears good in the outside..black in the inside..
Yeah, can happen with any imported mangoes but seems to happen often with these ones in particular. Poor storage, perhaps too cold at some point. Sometimes hard to tell without cutting it open so if you get ones like that definitely return them if you can.
Good price for these mangoes. I get given quite a few when they come into season but personally not a fan, find them lacking in taste/flavour. Kids will eat them though so all good haha
God I love mangoes, I could spend like $500 on these easily.
Does anyone know if the staff actually checks if you buy more than 2? What if I buy 2 and come back again lol?
Just bought them approx 15min ago. Yeah there were staffs next to the mangos to clean up etc.
Ive checked out using self checkout, but staff assistance was required when i selected the mangos.
I guess you can come back and buy them again, but when i went, the mango boxes were about 1/3 of the height from the pictureDamn. Hope they still have them 2morro…
Random question, can we get other Aussie varieties here in NZ like Kensington Pride or Calypso or Honey Gold? Saw KP once 3 years ago, but haven't seen it since then. I prefer KP over R2D2.
