Been looking to add more Hard drives for my Plex pc currently looking at amazon and I've seen some good deals on some of the western digital red drives but does anyone buy the big 16tb external drives and shuck them if possible?
Looking for advice before I spend money I've currently got 20tbs currently with 4 drives with mixed capacity.
Same here, i think they sometimes go on sale at Amazon au aswell.
i now buy the 20TB enterprise ones as they offer better value.
I've just ordered three recertified drives from Server Part Deals for the first time. If anyone's interested I'll post up about how it goes once I've received and tested them.
