15% off eGift Cards (Minimum $10 Spend) @ Subway

save15

Just got an email from Subway, they're running a promotion for the weekend where you can get 15% off eGift Cards using the code 'save15'. Offer valid 25th - 28th of November or until 10,000 eGift Cards have been purchased.

Wouldn't let me use the link to the homepage for Subway that shows the promo so I used the one that takes you directly to the eCard page instead. The promo is advertised on a banner at the top of their homepage at https://www.subway.com/en-NZ/

    • Minimum e-giftcard value is $10
    • There's no fee to create or credit e-giftcards
    • Your credit expires after 1 year
    • You can make a partial payment with an e-giftcard (i.e. you can use every last cent)

Not sure if some branches will refuse them, anyone had experience trying to use them?

    • I used to get physical Subway gift cards years ago from a survey site I was joined up with but never used an eGift Card before so I'm not 100%, but I'd imagine that only stores who don't let you order through the app might have an issue with eGift Cards, and are there any Subway stores in NZ that don't let you order and pay through the app?

    • I find it more efficient to order through the app and your sub is ready when you turn up. It's easy to add the GC to your balance and you get something like 50-70c added to your subway reward balance with each order to go toward future sub purchases.

  • Code is live now

  • Just did it now. Very straightforward. Once the email arrives, you can click the "merge subcard" link while logged in to your primary subway account, and then put in the details of the voucher to top up your existing account. It's not instant, however.
