How many cents per liter discount does Uber drivers get with BP?

I am just curious to know how many cents per liter does Uber driver get with BP ME app QR Code as I've seen most of the drivers pull into BP station to fuel.
I trust they get more than 6 cents off for their special occupation?
Do they benefit in any way if they share promo QR code with their friends or family who does daily driving and need fuel more often?

Cheers!

I get $0.12 off with my SuperCard. Might be closer to that figure? Because $0.06 doesn't sound that great.

Quick Google. Top link (2017 article); https://www.nzherald.co.nz/business/uber-teams-up-with-bp-fu….

The discounts will range between eight and 12 cents per litre and can be used in conjunction with other fuel discounts through BP's BPMe app.

Uber New Zealand general manager Richard Menzies said fuel discounts had been highly requested from drivers.

^ Some good info in there

  • I see so thats not a great discount then.
My go to fuel station is BP as my car runs better on BP 98 compared to Mobil 98. Although, I believe all fuels across NZ is the same standard but my car does seems to find difference between BP and Mobil 98.
I noticed Mobil has smiles point that you can accumulate for $5 or $10 but there is nothing like that with BP and I am just trying to figure out what and how do I get more discounts at BP. This is why I wonder if Uber drivers share their Promo code with person like me or you. 1. Would they benefit from it in any way like collecting points etc because it'd be a win win situation that we get discounted fuel and they accumulate points.
    Cheers.

    • I think it is Mobil fuel in general is shit. I very rarely use mobil fuel and recently did as they were the cheapest in my area by far. My car ran like absolute trash on that tank of fuel.

As an uber driver you get between 8c to 13c off per ltr at BP. I believe this is true for both Uber & Uber eats most likely. Uber referral is only for joining Uber. But you can definitely ask for a referral code and link it to an AA card which will give you the discount based on which tier your friend is on. You friend won't benefit anything for sharing the code.

This is what is showing in the uber app

  • Uber drivers usually take between 8c to13c according to there uber account points they hold.

  • They are also filling up $40 at a time to stack the discount.

  • Get a kora fuel card, fill up at waitomo and get 10c off. It's the cheapest fuel station and the biggest discount unless you pay for a farmlands card.

  • Maybe they should get a SuperCard where they could get 16c off at Mobil! Or a Costco business membership card.
