Totalling $2800+ for the phone and plan over 24 months, is pretty overpriced for a previous year's model.

    • The plan is the plan regardless of the phone. I wouldn't upgrade to the $80 plan if you don't need to, but if you have that plan or one similar priced, then it seems like a pretty decent deal to me - the iPhone 14 128gb is currently $1599, this makes the iPhone 13 128gb $899.

Skinny has an endless data plan for $46/four weeks. Therefore $598/year.

        iPhone 14 128gb $1599 + skinny plan for 12 months would be $2197.

This way you are not locked into a plan for 2 years either, and get the latest generation phone.

But as you said, if you’re already paying that much and need a new phone then it’s a no brainer to take the discount.

        • Or give Kogan mobile a try? Bring the total cost of plan much lower. My one is $165 a year with unlimited calls + messages, 15GB data per month. They usually run a promotion(twice a year) of buy 1 get 1 free, so $330 with my partner to get 2 of 1 year plan. Great deal!

          • @Chenglong: I wonder when the next promo will be..

            • @brownie1: I bought mine on 24 Mar, should be around this date, EOFY deal. Another promo period is around mid of August, Kogan birthday.
