    I do a search this website; coming out few flights very cheap on SmartFares. However i google the reviews for Smartfares, it is so bad.

    Anyone have experience on Smartfares?

      all OTAs have bad reviews :/ People remember the airline when things go well, and the OTA when things go bad. They also often add prices sneakily as you go eg "do you want to choose your seat?" suddenly $20 adds to your booking.

      I booked with them two weeks ago for a trans-Tasman flight on Nov 24th-26th. The booking went through and it's showing in my Qantas app so it's definitely legit.

      However when booking I did have to read their questions VERY carefully and check the total as I went. I'm not paying for their SMS messages, for example!

        I would not care few tricky additional bucks, for example booking fee or seats. However the thing is i read the reviews said the Smartfares will try to say and forced people to be given wrong information then need to pay few hundred bucks for changing information. That is ridiculous, as some of them bought the tickets for $300 but have to pay extra $400 for changing information eventhough that is Smartfares’s system problems.

        More funny is that, after i changed around currency and location on Smartfares website. The offer is disappeared. So I decided to not get the fares from them anymore. This is my experience for Smartfares only, not sure about other OTAs on beatthatflight

          Yeah I've seen those comments too, all I can offer is that my only experience with them has been perfectly fine. But I've not had to try and say, change my flight details - it might get tricky then. I fly in two weeks so guess I'll find out ;)
