Going to https://cheapies.nz just shows highlighted competitions and no deals.
I have to click on Deals in the navigation bar at the top in order to view the deals.
I suspect there's been a breaking change to the site done recently.

This happens from time to time.
Clicking on the Deals link as you mentioned will highlight the most current deals in the meantime.
It usually gets fixed reasonably quickly.
Bug reported.
It should be fixed now.
