AMC+ recently launched their streaming service AUNZ service.

They’re offering a free 7-day trial with the now fairly standard choice between a pay-as-you-go monthly option (NZD$9.99) or an up-front annual option (NZD$99.99) which represents a 20% saving on monthly PAYG.

Entering the promo INTERVIEWPLUS applies a further (rather random looking) 28.61% discount off whichever subscription option you choose - so $9.99 becomes $7.13 for the first month, or $95.88 becomes $68.45 for the first year.

        The old memory isn’t what it used to be… after I had posted (and edited/amended some overlooked typos etc.) I clicked on my profile to check… had a feeling I’d posted once before and not that long ago, but couldn’t quite recall one way or the other…

    Just cancelled my Trial Sub to re-sub with discount, thanks OP.

    Limited shows, limited video quality & Android TV app is a dud. Android & iOS are fine.

    I won't mind getting most or even all streaming if there's Turkey or Argentina work around. Otherwise its Jack Sparrow for me.

    I have seen the AMC+ annual subscription from India for INR 349. If you've vpn that would be the way to go!
    Edit: Note this is available as an addon for Amazon prime indian subscription. I have paid $30nzd for it's annual subscription. With vpn can access indian content & without vpn can access content available in NZ

      That’s too much admin and potential content filtration for me on an IN prime subscription from which I’ll get no other useful value. Paying the equivalent of $5.71 per month for a full year’s bonafide access to a broad-spectrum content provider’s subscription is a no-brainer for me. Interview with The Vampire and The Walking Dead just on their own will be worth that for me (I’ve never watch TWD but want to) so shut up and take my money AMC.

          Actually not! I’ve tried it several times over the years, but I’ve yet to get past season 3. I find that I really just don’t care what happens to Walter. I didn’t find the the character’s sad, misfortunate Everyman side either relatable or sympathy-inducing, nor the anti-hero with nothing to lose side compelling or even particularly interesting. Good writing dialogue-wise, great acting (Cranston is in a league of his own in everything he does) but I mostly just felt bored watching it and couldn’t bring myself to power through just in case it suddenly got better.

      Definitely not 4K. Looks to me to be between 720 and 1080 at best. I’m streaming through the NVidia Shield Pro though which does a pretty decent job of AI upscaling the source on my 65” OLED. No complaints from me but don’t expect too much.

        Nvidia Shield Pro(I have the Nvidia Shield 2017) having no loading issue?. I just get the constant green loading symbol where as Win10/Android phones play just fine.

    Any idea how to access the acorn content? I see BBC America but like how shudder has its own category I don’t see anything like that for acorn or am I missing something?

    Just got charged at the full rate of $95.88 today. Entered the promo code at the time, seemed to work but after my trial the charge went through at full price

    Got an email back from AMC, they don’t have an app for Amazon devices in NZ, they’re looking in to it:
