Any Freebies or Bargain Tips for USA/New York?

We are going to New York and wondering whether there is a cheapies equivalent in USA where we could get some freebies or bargains for some easy app installing or joining up? Everything seems to be quite expensive in New York so any savings we could make would be great.

      I second that. It's the best. Used it regularly when I was there. It has been around for quite a while.

    This could be useful if you know someone living there.
    Buying off ebay and having the items sent there and bringing them home yourself is a huge saving on the massive shipping costs to get things to nz
