AliExpress Import Customs Query

Hiya,

Wanting to import/buy a Megatron Transformer toy (known as MP-36) via AliExpress. Megatron has a toy gun transformation but in the box would be in its alternative robot form.

Has anyone had any issues or success in buying and getting such a toy into the country through customs, since it is technically a toy gun? Given it's pricey, I won't bother trying if it is likely to be stopped at the border. Cheers for any feedback

    Ask Customs before you buy.

    It would not get stopped at the boarder from my point of view. It's a transformer toy and nothing else.

    Over 15 years ago I sent a G1 MIB (not sealed) Megatron to the US. The purchaser asked me to remove the figure and transform it to robot mode… Just in case.
