Please Recommend Best Hair Dryer

Hi All,

I am looking for a good hair dryer. Got 2 young girls and wife who will be using it. Things I need to consider is it should least damage the hair and scalp. Should take less time to start and have different heat settings just so can reduce the heat in case required to damage less. Most of the time it would be used for drying especially in winter.

As per reviews I can see Dyson & Parlux being highly recommended. Anyone got any experience with them? Is Dyson worth the money?

Any deals or discounts out there?

Thanks

I have the Parlux 385, I remember doing a bit of research before I purchased and settled on this model. Coming up to 8 years now and still works perfect. I have thick coarse hair and it takes forever to air dry but this dries my hair in no time.

I also use it on my toddler’s fine wavy hair and it works great for her hair too. She doesn’t need much heat to dry her hair and the lowest setting is sufficient (basically no heat).

When I purchased it it was well under $200, and I remember thinking it was expensive then but I see it now costs much more than that! Seems one of the cheapest is through TheMarket @ $254.20.

No experience with the Dyson, sorry. Got the Parlux and haven’t had to think about replacing or needing another hair dryer since (well, not until it stops working haha).
