  • Samsung t7 SSD are fantastic external storage devices. Have got quite a few already.

  • Kinda want a PCI-e capture card but does anyone know what the latency is like on the USB ones?

    • I use them for livestreaming, not this model in particular, but they do the job for HD resolution.

      • I want to play on my PS5 thru the capture card i hear some have very high latency but if its fairly low it is fine.
Saw a few average reviews but if you say it does the job i might grab one thanks

        • If you can go for PCIe then it's always going to be better. But if a compact setup / you only have a laptop. Then this might be the way to go. I believe elgato make ones tailored to gaming but I have never used them.

    • From what I can read, there is a bit more latency still than the PCIe ones.

  • Heh, I thought I looked through this sale and didn't even notice the EVGA XR1 so thanks for the heads up, was debating between the Lite/Pro but I think I'll save myself the $$$ for the time being and just grab the Lite mainly for use with a Switch not that I imagine using it that much >.< just to replace a real cheap USB Capture Card I had from AliExpress where the compression is god awful

    • Hey, was thinking the lite for the switch too, whats the best way to get audio back to the PC? Want to be able to hear switch audio and PC audio at the same time, or at least use earbud headphones with the switch and have the audio captured at the same time. I can’t work out how on the lite though, since theres no 3.5mm?

      • I think the device should output the audio over the HDMI as well right? so in something like OBS you could set it up so you can hear the Switch Audio I believe, I tend to just have audio out from TV to my PC so any source on my TV I can listen to, could also use the switches 3.5mm to your line in.
