  • Can you confirm if this is short dated stock @JohnFord23?

    • Barista Edition - Current expiry 02.10.22
This is short dated and this information should be in the description.
Some others are fairly short dated as well.

      • Plant projects and putting short dated details in the description? yeah right hahah

  • Plant Projects always seem to be posting 'deals' on here…it's almost like they don't have any budget for advertising

    • Then let the "deals" speak for themselves. Same goes for a few posters here. I'm sure that's fine so long as they disclose their association and otherwise abide by the rules.

i think its damage control, they haven't got a good rep here posting deals without notifying they are short dated, but these deals are good for larger consumers/cafes.

  • I can't wait for New Zealand Functional Foods to start producing oat milk

Most oat milk sold in NZ seems to be processed overseas

Anyone interested in what the "barista" edition of a milk is about? FairGo last night:

You can make the stuff yourself in 5 minutes without preservatives. Https://youtu.be/-oA6n1UChAg

    • I've tried it but never had satisfactory results. To drink cold or as it was, it had an acceptable taste, but when heating that, the slime texture always appears.

I really enjoy the barista version, in simple words it has more fat and goes well with coffee but surely not a healthier option.

  • I'm attempted to give it a try but my experience with them is the taste changes a lot across the different brands and the one I like most is from "So good" their barista version is thicker and sweeter than others. Did anyone try those in the post?

The barista oatly was great when purchasing from the supermarket.

However I cannot recommend purchasing it through plant projects.
Save yourself the headache of having to chase your order just for expired product to arrive.
