Hot N' Spicy - When Does It Come Back?

I know this isn't specifically cheapies related but I also figured there were some KFC lovers on here given the popularity of the give me five posts.

Does anyone know if it's coming back this year? It's usually out by now so I am wondering if they've given it a miss.

    If you are in Auckland, the KFC at Manukau (next to the Westfield Mall) is full time Hot N Spicy all year round.

    I am on the North Shore, usually I go to the one in Westgate, but after a very long drive they told me they don't do it anymore because of covid.

    Henderson Lincoln Rd always had hot and spicy - was worth a trip especially when there was gimme 5 deal on. Think they were competing with Texas chicken.

      Just beware that you may get surcharged for Hot & Spicy if it's not part of a coupon deal.

      I tried to get the Gimme 5 deal with Hot & Spicy and was initially told by staff that it costs extra, but they later corrected that it doesn't.

    Was wondering the same! They had the hot & spicy boneless a while ago. Tried it and it wasn't too bad but I prefer bones in my chicken pieces lol

    Is the spicy chicken from Texas Chicken any good? Bit of a drive for me..

      Texas Chicken is great, and if I am going to drive, then I would always prefer to go there since they have it all year round. Their commitment to spicy chicken will always be rewarded.

    Texas Chicken has spicy chicken permanently and their pieces are bigger than the kfc pieces every time we’ve been.

    Google imitation kfc, follow the first recipe. Add a little curry and a packet of Maggie nacho and a tablespoon of chilli. Wow, it's better I reckon

    I just buy those tegal packs 1kg nashville/lousiana of chicken, pretty comparable to kfc i recon
