From 7am Thursday 24 September until midday Friday 25 September we’re dropping pump prices to a new low, dipping by 10c per litre, delivering an extra boost as you drive towards the school holidays.
Remember, you can make your savings go even further by using Countdown supermarket vouchers in conjunction with already discounted prices at manned sites.
According to their Facebook, they were having problems with their electronic signs so the price out front may not be discounted, price at pump should be. That was earlier in the day but I presume they are still having some problems, at Gull Swanson Rd, price was $1.779 on pump but $1.799 at sign. The nearby Mobil and BP had also discounted their prices I think, but only to the $1.799 price :-P (I haven't been there for a while, but it used to be $1.899 I believe. I presume Gull discounted to $1.799 at first then when the others dropped as well they went a further 2 cents cheaper.)
Also if you go to a staffed site, should get a voucher for $3 off $30 or $5 off $50. I got one of these another time they had a 10c off, so I guess it's a regular thing they do during discount days. It's expiring 17/10, does that means they probably won't have another discount day before then to avoid people doubling up?
Incidentally, I discovered the fuel vouchers last slightly longer than a calender month. Had one from 23/08. Thought it wouldn't work, but it did.
