    They are doing it only for $1 reserve, which probably brings a lot of traffic to their website.

      I think $1R is only good if you just want something gone. If you want a fair price for your goods then you need to sell like a shop and run with a Buy Now only

        only worth it for something popular otherwise its a waste of time, sold things for $1 and they want it shipped or wait days for the person to pickup. the hassle for the $1 when i could just put it in the bin

  with these listings, can i put a buy now?, im wondering there needs to be a $1 bid but that would remove the buynow option.

    I think you can put a buy now. Haven't done a lot of these but have managed to sell few things with the $1 reserve deals.

    You can but as soon as someone bids and the reserve is met the buynow goes away. $1RES typically go for less than the buynow for other products these days as buyer traffic is lower on TM.
