I think this is the lowest price for the Animal model, worth considering if you need to replace your vacuum.

Wouldn't recommend - we're on our second warranty replacement of the V12 within 12 months, and our current one is starting to show signs of failure too. Really not impressed with the product at all.
What was the issue if I may ask?
Have been using the V11 for the last 2 years or something ever since it came out, and haven't had any problems hmmm
also still using the V6 thats much older for a quick vacuum around the car, what is wrong with your V12?
My V8 bought back in 2018 is still going strong with the original battery.

I bought the Dyson V7 from Bunnings. I used it maybe 8-10 times over 8 months and it stopped working - it wouldnt run continuously (stopped and started - maybe fault in battery or connection). I took it back to Bunnings and they didn't ask any questions and refunded immediately. From their response I wondered if this model was known for breaking down?

The vacuum had already been packaged and labelled for collection by the courier, but I was able to stop this before collection so we can cancel and refund this for you. Please note due to the public holiday tomorrow you will likely not see this on your statement until early-mid next week.

That is really cheap for the V8 Animal.
Makes you wonder if they have stuffed up the pricing as JB have the V8 Origin for $499 also so seems strange to offer the Animal for the same price.
If you don't need the 'Mini Motorised Tool' & 'Stubborn dirt brush', V8 Origin @ NZ$497.00 might be a better buy.
