The Travelling Squirrel is a play by award-winning author Robert Lord, who also penned the highly successful Joyful and Triumphant. This story is a satirical piece which explores the fickle nature of the entertainment industry. The lead character, Bart, compares his struggles as a writer to those of misunderstood painter, Roger the squirrel. This comedic piece is not without romance. Bart, the aforementioned Writer, is in a relationship with Jane, avery successful TV star. But will they last? It's being staged at Circa Theatre, Taranaki St. from now until Friday, October 2; with various start times. Tickets are priced from $25, call 04 8017992 to book.
