Free Bag of All Blacks Coffee (and Possibly an ASB Mug?) @ ASB Branches Nationwide

120

See the countdown on the linked website for when the next giveaway batch will arrive at your local branch.

Want a limited edition pack?
When the countdown on the website hits zero, a new batch will be delivered to ASB branches around the country. Just drop by and ask for a pack, and get ready to support the All Blacks.
But be quick - the ABS Blend won't last long!

ASB and the All Blacks have joined forces to create the ABS Blend - a special coffee to get Kiwis up early in the morning to watch the games.
The coffee is quick and powerful, just like the All Blacks. And the squad even helped to roast, grind, and smash some of the beans into packs. Now that's commitment to fans.
People on Twitter have uploaded pictures with a ASB mug as well, not sure if its part of it or not.

It's scheduled to appear as the featured deal on the homepage tomorrow from 9am - 12pm, and will also appear in the newsletter in the morning :)

  • Be interesting to take a talley of how many CC'ers collectively manage to snaffle. Hoping they are 1kg packs as appears in the ad photos.

  • Just picked mine. It's a 200g pack.

  • Picked mine too…Cheers

  • Happy. In a quick circuit of local branches, manage to snaffle 7 bags, which works out about $50 worth. A little disappointed though that it isn't whole bean or the larger packet as in the promotional photos.

Only road bump was one branch where manager tried to say it was for ASB card carrying members only. Referred them to the web page for the TnC's which have no such restriction. With a little bit of 'discussion', was given the bag but manager wasn't a happy little duckling.

Not bad for an hour of shopping done along the way as well.

Have to say that the promotion wasn't well advertised instore or out. Most branches seemed unaware of the promotion and needed to search 'out back' to find which storage cupboard stock had been stashed away in. Only one branch had the coffee on display. Didn't see anyone else asking for it. Apparently branch staff also got coffee presses to try out the product themselves. However these weren't part of the giveaway. (yet, anyway)

    • Mate - you must have some expensive tastes if you normally pay $50 for 1.4kg of coffee… !

      • Hah, no, I was basing that on a quick look at prices at Pac n Save, where they sell similar 200g packs of ground coffee beans for $6-$7 each. I usually buy kilo bags of beans directly from craft roasters. I don't do instant coffee so not sure what that costs these days.

      7 bags…??? how on earth..

      • Visited several local branches. At a few, no-one else had asked so they gave me a couple.

  • Just a wee bump for this deal as its still going! The next release of bags is on Friday 16th at 10.00am. :)
