Skinny - Any way to top up a non standard amount?

Hi All,

We have a Skinny Mobile account with $29.84 credit right now.

We are purchasing their $16.00 per 28 days plan, so we have enough for one $16.00 purchase, that will leave $13.84 in credit.

Does anyone know how we can top up $2.16 (or if there is a minimum, perhaps $18.16 or even $34.16) so that the $13.84 is not left 'stranded', rather than buying a round sum $20 top-up?

Maybe it is obvious, but I can't see how to do that?

If that is not possible, we could just not purchase a plan, and run through the $13.84 that way, but if we can top up to $16.00 it would be ideal.

    On the app you can top up any full dollar amounts. $5, 6 ,7 onwards

      Thanks - Not sure how I missed that!

      However, I select the $5 option, but nothing happens after I enter my mobile number.

      I was expecting to get a notification in my bank portal asking me to authorise it?

    The webinterface allow topup to $1 rounding but not to cents.
    May be ask their livechat ?

    If you have more than one sim. You can transfer credit across them if you register both under the same account.

      We only have the one Skinny SIM currently.

      I have gone with topping up $5 for now, and if / when we move elsewhere, will either leave it open with the couple of dollars, or use it up off plan.

    One option is to change plan to prepay and use the left overs that way

    You can buy a new skinny sim for $1 and activate it with $16 plan. Use your skinny buddy rewards code in the new skinny activation, which will give you $20 back. So technically you are $3 richer lol. Maybe that can offset your missing credits.

    Bonus - you get to use $16 plan with 4gb bonus data for a month if you have spare phone.
