Do EB Games Offer Cash When You Sell a Game to Them?

Anyone have ever traded their video games to eb games and what did you get in return?

  • Don't you get store credit? First link I found on Google:

    https://www.ebgames.co.nz/trade-and-save

A store associate will quickly tell you how much store credit your games are worth.

    • A store associate will quickly tell you how little they are willing to give you so they can resell for a significantly higher price lol

      • "What do you mean Tekken 2 isn't worth $20!?"

        • When I was younger I used to think it was a good deal. Oh how naive.
I once tried to clear some old games well into the next gen and was offered $0.50 for some of them … That was a leaning opportunity in capitalism

  • I got cash (Refunded to a debit card), Traded in Last Month

  • Rubbish trade in value if you take cash have top teir EB membership so I get like 20% more in store credit or somthing

  • just sell it on trademe.

  • You might as well take your games to Cash Convertors or any other pawn shop if you're going to sell them to EB, they'll all give you next to nothing for them. Try selling them on here, there's a buy/sell section https://www.cheapies.nz/classified

  • I did this, this weekend so i can weigh in. You can either get store credit, cash, or sent to a debit card. The value isn't affected by what option you choose. Eg you don't get extra for store credit. Maybe that used to be the option.

  • do they accept sealed games?

    • +2

Why would they not? They’d probably have to open it though.
