This year Read NZ Te Pou Muramura (formally The New Zealand Book Council) proudly celebrates 50 years. In honour of this celebration, Booktown is hosting 50 Years of Read NZ Te Pou Muramura. The event is an opportunity to hear literary luminaries Witi Ihimaera, Selina Tusitala Marsh, Owen Marshall, Joy Cowley, Ben Brown, and Renée reflect upon their writings and ask “what has changed?”
