Actually - so do we, and I had forgotten about them… thanks a lot for reminding me, I was in blissful ignorance earlier today!
Dear Lord! Those must be like rocks by now. Ours 1 week later from there freezer were already a bit firm (but no where near as bad as if we had left them out), so we decided it wasnt worth it. Enjoy in the first couple of days, regret the rest of the week.
A quick defrost in the microwave and they're perfectly fine.
You need to be sure they are sealed in something airtight otherwise they will still deteriorate (I suspect they actually lose water and dry out) in the freezer.
However, they aren't as good as fresh of course.
@Plug: Having purchased three dozen last time, it felt that I should freeze at least four or five, rather than eating them all in one go, otherwise that would have been just gluttonous!
