Hi Everyone
I need to purchase an automatic garage door opener for my Mum.
Ideally a unit that will fit on a keychain and is simple to use. The opener will need to open both the gate and the garage door separately.
At this time I do not know the brand of the door/gate but it may be Garadoor.
Does anyone have any suggestions where I could purchase a garage door opener from?

Merlin and Chamberlain sell garage door openers and sell receivers to connect to your automatic gate.
They are all over Trade Me, or Ali Express if you want cheaper but longer shipping time. Prices start from $15. I've sold them before myself. But you do need the brand/model of either the opener unit or the original remote to be able to get the correct one. The ones I mean are "compatible" not original. But I've actually found them to be better than the factory ones.

These are just the remotes though.
I assumed from the post that OP needed the entire unit including the motor?
If not then yes this is a cheap way to go.
Yes you could be correct. It wasn't too clear to me. She mentioned "ideally a unit will fit on a keychain" That was my prompt that she actually just wanted a remote. Anyway, maybe we will never know unless OP comes back.
Try Dominator garage doors. They did the ones at our new build.
You could try going direct to Garador
They will do a free quote anyway so you've got nothing to lose.
Doesn't matter if it's not a Garador branded door they will still be able to quote you an opener for it.
If you need to do both the gate (auto-gate?) and garage door then you are going to need two openers but can definitely be done off the one remote/key fob.
Unless your auto gate is already on a remote in which case they might be able to do a relay to trigger it rather than a new opener.
