    probably also unshuckable, with usb port built into the drive making it if the port fails you're screwed

      yea all wd drive would lack the sata port now, it makes it unreliable.

          @regan89: Got a WD External from 2012 has a usb port on the actual drive. Large externals still have sata interfaces

            Anything below on WD is USB

              @Huntakillaz: On portable yes i still think any large externally powered ones have sata but of course i could be wrong i got a 8tb last year and it was sata

                @[Deactivated]: 3.5in drives still use sata, the WD 10tb drives i got were wd whites (similar to the reds)
