Want to try it for a few weeks

  • You might be better buying second hand from Trade Me or eBay. Then if you don't like it resell it. If you do your research you can usually sell for what you purchased, or even make a cheeky few dollars. If you do like it then you could buy the same thing brand new if you don't like second hand items.

WTF ? If you were a retailer would you let someone use a product 'for a few weeks' then return it. After that you'd have to re-sell it as 2nd hand.

What sort of functionality are you looking for and what kinda budget ?

    • I thought the same thing to start with. But then I remembered that sometimes companies do make these kind of offers. You know "We are so confident that you will love this product you can return it for any reason within X weeks in original condition and we will refund you in full" Can't think of any watch companies that do it, but there COULD be some out there…….

  • Yeah you won't find anywhere that will let you do that, especially on an electronics item that you can sweat on, swim with, run with, expose to the elements.

As said above, buy second hand, or at least figure out what you want in a watch and then ask for recommendations

    • There are some electronics that offer this. eg Oculus Quest 2

  • I think you should be able to get that at Costco when they open in Aug/Sep, I heard they have very good return policies.

  • Apple store online does I believe? within 14 days

    • However if it's not in the original condition then ofc not

  • Any retailer says no reason being what customer will buy it at full retail when they know someone else has opened it and left their body juices on it.
Do proper recearch or buy second hand if your unsure if it's right for you
Bought the Galaxy watch 4 sight unseen best one I have had to date
