Book a Sales Appointment in March and Receive a $50 Gardening Voucher @ Ryman Healthcare

30

Not sure whether to list this as a freebie as you may have to give up your grandma.

When you book an in-person appointment you can be reassured that we have all Covid-safe protocols in place. If you prefer, we can arrange an online appointment and provide technical support if needed. Either way, booking a time to visit or meet online is a great way to learn more about the retirement living and care options available and to ask any questions. Plus when you book a sales appointment in March you will receive a $50 gardening voucher! *Terms and conditions apply.

Any prospective resident who books and attends an in-village or online appointment with a sales advisor in March 2022 will receive a $50 gardening/hardware voucher for their local garden/hardware shop.

  • Very clever marketing technique by their marketing team!
Such a cheap way to increase their bank accounts.

Not saying this is bad, just saying that this is very clever from their marketing team, which their job is to earn the company as much $ as possible.

I've signed up for a call. I'm 28, but there's nothing in the terms that rule it out. Looks like you can do an online call too, so no need to go in person.

    • Funny, I signed my mum up yesterday, she’s mid 70s and refuses to ever go into a home but was happy to have a look for a free gardening voucher.
They called her back and we have an appointment on Saturday

Next minute, she’s living in a rest home

        • She got her free $50 Mitre10 gift card. Sales technique wasn't pushy (the complex hasn't been built and wont be ready for a few years)
They did say the minimum age to live in a Ryman village was 70, so I'm not sure how homegardener got on.

@phillq: Just following up to confirm I have just had a call with a friendly person from Ryman. Ahead of the call, I was very clear that I was 28, that my grandparents are dead and that my parents are youthful and peppy. They still wanted to go ahead with the call, and used the opportunity to tell me about the development of the new Karori facility (my suburb) and their increasing involvement in the suburb. Confirmed I will receive the gift card. Total time cost was about 10 min call, 5 min reading this deal and posting this update, and maybe 10 min on emails to set up a time and to be very open with them about my actual level of interest. An acceptable hourly rate.

    • Would be interested to know what folds out with online call..

      • Comment above, FYI.

  • Very tempting but fyi in order for it to be profitable statistically you need to have a less than 0.0125% to 0.00515463917% chance of buying an apartment after the appointment.

    50/400000 = 0.0125%
    50/970000 = 0.00515463917%

    • I like those odds 😁

  • Similar but not.
