Dropped from $739 to $699 at Folders as of last night. They seem to have matched Briscoes one day sale price from yesterday, so the 10% price beat at Briscoes was $665 before Wednesday but is now even better at $630 today.

Got mine this morning in store, initially they couldn’t access folders.co.nz because this competitor’s website isn’t white listed on their system so manager had to check on their own phone, and all was good. Delivery charge will probably apply if price matching over the phone, but have heard of people in previous posts getting free delivery by just asking.

Personally never heard of Folders before, but looking at their website they seem like a decent local retailer. They seem to have good prices on a lot of things.

Update 25/02: Just checked again and the competitor has moved their price back to $739, so the price beat at Briscoes is now back to $665

  Bought it from Briscoes. They said they will be having another sale soon (surprise surprise) that will also apply to the black version.

    High chance it'll be the same as their $699 one day flash sale price, but if its cheaper then it would need to priced lower than $629 to be a better deal than the current 10% price beat with the competitor (unless a competitor also lowers below Briscoes price at the same time)
