  • Haven’t been to the Coffee Club for years. Thanks for this! Used to have their membership or club card that gave you buy one get one free coffee back when I didn’t know what good coffee was!

    • Do you think their coffee varies from store to store?

I’m not sure anymore. Probably similar to BP Wild Bean cafes - some make okay coffee and some make bad coffee and some are simply undrinkable. Guess it’s a lot to do with the baristas that make them.

    • Yes
They started well, then hired sub par baristas.
      what's your fav coffee place?

      • Coffee club is usually staffed with migrant workers or first generational young asians without work experience that are willing to get started in their careers because it seems like few people want to work there. Sub par baristas for sub par coffee.

If you remember your uni days, you and I will remember we didn't have any money and things are tough and feel like no one there is to help you.
Respect to the students for stepping up into a retail job and giving it a go and getting started and making some money during these COVID times.
This is particularly the case when some boomer comes along in their BMW/ Merc and gloats in everyone face how wealthy he/ she is.

Every business needs to make a profit and to cover operating costs - think commercial rents, staffing costs, utilities and raw materials - hence, the need to charge $20 min for a meal and $5 for a drink.

        • You argument is factually flawed. Its about quality and consistency not charge a minimum just for the sake of it. Perhaps their business model is wrong when something like McDonalds and BK would suit them better.

Look at Christo's feeback below- says a lot about quailty.

I just went there with my mate. We got the double Angus cheese burger with fries. Hands down the worst burger I've ever eaten. The patties are just some precooked frozen patties that doesn't taste like to proper meat that have just been microwaved to lukewarm. Over the top with the mustard which made it quite sour. I don't who on earth would pay the full price of $24.50 each for this!

  • Went to lynnmall last weekend and they are not honouring it anymore due to covid.
