  I doubt there would be issues with weatherproofing, and the parts are all relatively generic.

    My experience with all Chinese bikes is that they really don't last. Even when the components are ok, it's the rest of the bike that sucks. Can OP confirm where they are made? Website says western Europe but I'm doubtful.

      Hmmm… I got the feeling you might be a fan of those "Made in XXX" and small text says "from imported ingredients" or "Made in China" but large text says "Designed in XXX"
      
      "you got what you paid for" is true anywhere even in China, if you want quality stuff, don't go for cheap price.
