Im looking for something that is not too heavy to use but does the job. Wanting it for spot cleans because of my diabetic dog.
Does anyone have a decent one they can recommend?

Hey,
Bissell Spot cleaners are the best for small areas. You can find them on TradeMe or just get them for around $250 somewhere. Keep an eye out at Godfreys and Harvey Norman if a new one is available. They include with enough shampoo (2 Bottles) for spot cleaning. And the oxy shampoo definitely works wonders.
If you want a big area cleaner, this one was one I've tried before and it did a great job at my house.

Thanks, lots of out of stocks at Harvey norman and Godfrey even though their websites say in stock. Godfrey had been out of stock for around 4 months. I spent more than I wanted and got the gruntier turbo model. Works well on my thick rhino carpet. I'm not sure the other models would have done the job I had the joy of trying it out at 4:30am. Thanks for recomendations

Rug Doctor has carpet cleaning machines for hire, you can find a store locator here https://www.rugdoctor.co.nz/hire/
or alternatively you can get a spot remover from somewhere like countdown. we used it when our dog was a puppy and were quite happy with it.
