E-Bike Recommendations (for Commute Purposes)

Good day CC Team

Any recommendations for an E-Bike? Will be used mostly for a 7.5km commute to the office (so about 15km a day)?

There are alot of cheaper chinese stuff, but would prefer something that I could at least get support if something breaks.

Obvious also something not to expensive! Would prefer not spending more than 2.5k

The cheaper Chinese Bafang motors are actually pretty good. I've fitted one onto a regular second-hand Trek Marlin 5 bike and have done just under 1000km now. A second hand bike bought in NZ, a Bafang motor and a reputable brand of downtube battery from AliExpress will set you back a total of about $2knzd shipped. You just need to install it. :)
