  • Do you need to have a power card already to load this credit through the app?

    • It looks like you do.
I haven’t tried it, just posted as it looks like a good deal for the school holidays.
On the Timezone app you can add credit but need to enter the details of an existing powercard first.

  • What's a time zone

A time zone is an area that observes a uniform standard time for legal, commercial and social purposes.

Old school arcade. Last time I went there was more than 10 years ago. Surprised they are still out there.

      • They are a heck of a lot of fun and that's coming from someone in his 40's. Lots to do and far superior to back in the day. The Riccarton one would have to be the best I've been to in NZ

      • they're actually experiencing a massive comeback, surprisingly

  • probably a good time to spend $200 (to last 12 months), then you get $400 credit in total for this promo, plus qualify for Blue elite status which will give you further free $20 credit and 500 powertickets, $10 birthday treat, and 10% discount on all games. Gold status is a bit out of my league, dont even mention platinum!

    • there are some ticket games with easy jackpots that allow having fun while turning a profit for practical items like iPads, earbuds, and easy christmas stocking stuffers.

      • i'm not a big fan of the ticket games but understand the attraction, i couldnt imagine anyone obtaining an ipad through the prize system without spending thousands? But do advise how to get the easy jackpots, happy for a PM!

Look up arcade advantage play, you do need to be skilled at the games in question. Stuff like shooting baskets you might play the game as early as possible in the day and set 5 high scores in a row while it's easy/achievable then move to the next machine.

With deposit bonuses it can be profitable depending how little you value your time

          • @Dunno: Got 2000 tickets on one play of a kids fishing game today, I need to figure out how the hell that happened!

    • I missed this deal 😭😭😭😭😭😭

  • I was lucky enough to have Gold under the old system, which rolled over to the new one, I think in the old days you only had to spend a couple of hundred to get Gold. We don’t go very often but the Double dollars helps fill in the school holidays.

And then a few months ago Timezone changed their rewards, and also their prize pricing. One of my kids has 12000 tickets because everyone’s tickets got doubled overnight.
