Cashrewards 'Max' for ANZ Cardholders - Does It Include Kiwi Customers of ANZ?

Hi all,

I tried to sign up for the 'Cash Rewards Max' program on cashrewards.com.au. I'm already a member of their normal program, and some NZ stores are included in the offering.

They say the 'Max' program gives better cashback rates, but is only open to those who can link their ANZ debit/credit card to the account. But when I tried to link my ANZ debit card (which was issued by a branch in NZ), I got the following message:

"Unfortunately the card entered is not eligible for Cashrewards Max. Please enter your ANZ Debit or Credit Card details below (excluding ANZ First and Business Visa Debit Cards), or contact our team for support."

Does anyone know if this program is open to ANZ customers in New Zealand, or is it just for Australians?

I tried to contact support, but they keep asking me to give more details before they look into it, so I thought it might be faster asking the crowd here. Thanks for any help

    Probably similar to their Amazon AU gift card deals in that it has to be from an Australian Bank.
    Might get a better answer from the CashRewards rep over at OzBargain.
