    That is what I though initially but when you look at the ad it seems to me that you get both.

    You may well be right but it's not very clear.

      Oh true, looks like these offers can be stacked! Just need to consider the 12 mos when calculating the overall cost.

      Ie: for $40 plan → ($20 x 6 mos) + ($40 x 6 mos) = $360 over 12 months.

        $360 over 12 months - but less $80 to net out at $280 for 12 months?

        Or have I misunderstood that?

          @Alan6984: I think you're right. I did not include the $80 as it's just one of the options and others might pick a device instead.

  This is a pretty good deal especially if you are a senior or student and can get an additional $5 and the $80 dollars instead of the device the $40 plans ends up being 18.30 a month for the 12 months.

  I am looking for a good deal for my folks so this is a good option for them.

  However I see Kogan Australia just released their black friday deal which is 2 for 1 360 plans and if they do the same for NZ then that is even a better deal with it being unlimited calls to NZ/AU and Messaging and 15 GB per month for their lowest plans.
