Get a COVID-19 vaccination before October 31 and you’ll have the chance to win one of 20 “vaxication” trips to Wellington, each valued at $2500.

The sooner New Zealand gets vaccinated, the sooner we can all start rediscovering our favourite holiday spots.

With that in mind, we’re giving away 20 trips for people getting their first or second COVID-19 vaccination between Super Saturday (October 16) and October 31. Getting vaccinated means you can win a chance to enjoy a well-deserved getaway in the capital when levels are suitable.

Each prize includes return flights for two, two nights in a top hotel plus $500 spending money to eat, drink and shop your way around Wellington.

All you have to do is prove you’ve had a COVID-19 vaccination between October 16 and the end of the month, and you could be winging your way to Wellington. The competition is open to Wellingtonians too, minus the flights.

What you need to do

• Send us proof of your vaccination. This could be a photo of your vaccine record, or a time-stamped selfie of you getting vaccinated.
• Upload this to our private portal below by 11.59pm on 31 October 2021.
• We will then select 20 winners randomly and use the contact details provided to verify you had your COVID-19 vaccine between October 16 and October 31.
• Winners will have six months to redeem their prize.
• Winners must be double vaccinated by the time they travel to Wellington. Terms and Conditions are below.
