    Price seems very good, however I doubt many people will be visiting multiple countries, so probably better just to buy a local SIM for the single country you are going to visit. https://toomanyadapters.com/international-sim-card-compariso…

      Hi Kiwi junglist,

      Typically, a Local SIM will alwyas be cheaper, but that depends on how you value your time. :)

      • UAE & Canada are very expensive. Also, countries like Indonesia now block you from buying a Local SIM unless you pay a tax to unblock your IMEI (40% of your phone's RRP value)!!!

      • Flexiroam allows you to make calls with your Kiwi mobile number (a Local SIM doesn't)

      • Flexiroam allows Data Gifting. One Data Plan can be shared amongst multiple devices, a family or group of traveller's. 4 x Local SIMs would probablyu be more expensive

      • Flexiroam wastes less plastic

      • Flexiroam also has a range of cheaper Local Data Plans for ~55 individual countries, that are much more price competitive

    It will save me lots of times and money if I could get this deal for my trip to HKG-TPE-JPN-CZ-VIE-DE in 2019, but not right now……….

    I've travelled FRA-ITA-SUI-AUT back in 2019 and was using Orange Holiday SIM card across those countries. Good value for money back then.

      Hi Lucas,

      It started yesterday and the in app discount ends 12 OCT at midnight GMT time. By my math that's 8am your time. I'm in CoVID invested Melbourne!

      I typically buy a few extra plans to keep up my sleeve, but no guarantees!

      If you aren't on an eSIM device I've got someone locally that can post a SIM Card or Microchip out to you.
