Get 12GB of Free Data when you join Vodafone on any MyFlex Prepay plan and bring over your number. Data lasts 90 days.

This will be of interest for anyone who got the cheap sim cards with free data from previous deals that are now sitting unused. It requires you to pay for a MyFlex Prepay plan but in the T&Cs they say you are required to "activate the included SIM on an eligible plan" so as I understand it once you pay for that plan they won't take away the free data if you don't renew it the next two months.

*Offer available until 31 October 2021. MyFlex plan needs to consist of minutes, TXT and data totalling $13 or more. MyFlex Prepay renews every 28 days and auto renews if you have enough credit. Bring your number to Vodafone (from any other NZ mobile network) when you join a MyFlex Prepay plan and receive a bonus 12GB of data. 12GB bonus data lasts for up to 90 days from activation.     https://www.vodafone.co.nz/mates/ if you just wanted the data you could get a free sim through Vodafone mates site, activate it when you get the sim (if I remember correctly there's a plan that you pay as you go and doesn't require upfront payment), then port that number to 2 degrees.

    Still need to top up $19+ for 2degrees.

    *Vodafone mates is essentially my flex but gives those under 25 an extra 500mb of data, there is no verification process for this, I know in store they ask for Id sometimes. Be careful because i don't know if it stacks with the port deal posted by OP. Might be worth using all the data first before changing to mates if you already have my flex.

  If you contact Vodafone’s customer service and you are buying an iphone, switching from other provider to vodafone, their representative can give you $20 discount on the $40 plan and also you get that iphone discount. Thats how i got my iphone pro max so cheap back in May
