So why are they CompTIA this? They are the world's largest IT Industry Association and are keen to get more people interested in a career in tech. At the end of this course, you'll have a certificate, a better understanding of the tech industry, and a foundation for advanced courses if you want to specialise further (eg. security, networking, etc).

    I'll give it a go, I think it might be lower level than me but eh, I might pick up something I didn't already know and I'll have a shiny certificate to show for it.

  • I have a compsci degree but am.having issues finding work, anyone know if it's worth it?

    • I would say its better than nothing.

    • ITF+ is kinda worthless, if you have a basic understanding of it more worthwhile doing the A+.

        I agree regarding ITF+ not really being worth it. But it's free and you can probably smash out with minimal effort.
        A+ is 100% better, but it's not free.

      • Better than nothing.
