Survey Sites in New Zealand

Hey guys,

I know this is a website for saving money, but this forum is about making money, which may help some of you out. For the past couple of months, I've been doing surveys for various websites and apps, helping me earn some extra moola. Good survey websites that pay well are hard to come by in New Zealand, so I just thought I would share my experiences so far with anyone who may be interested.

By far the best site. They have surveys every day, and I've earned about ~$200 a month, perhaps more. Valued Opinions has options to payout at $10 or $20, and from there you have the option to choose from over 20 different stores New Zealand-wide. I highly recommend this one.

Also a good one. They have surveys available every day, which pay about $1.25 - $3.65 for each survey. They pay to Paypal (but takes about a month to get there) and they also payout using the same gift card system as Valued Opinions. The only downside to Pure Profile is that redemptions are limited to $70 every 60 days.

Rewardia

This website is slightly different. They have loads of surveys, but you have to select which ones you do wisely. Some pay handsomely for the time you put in, the others not so much. They also use the same gift card system as the aforementioned, but they also do bank transfers at $50. No Paypal on this one.

Attapoll

Attapoll is an app that only pays to Paypal. It has a super low $5 minimum cashout and it pays to your Paypal instantly. Surveys are pretty scarce, perhaps 1-3 a day. However, it does give you notifications whenever new surveys are available which is helpful. Referral links give bonus credit, iirc it's around $0.5

Pollpay

Similar to Attapoll in the sense that it's an app that pays instantly to Paypal. Surveys can be a hit or miss. The currency is in USD, and it has a minimum cashout of $10 USD. Gives bonus USD 0.25 through referral code.

    I used to do the Neilson TV stuff (they send you this piece of hardware that tracks your tv viewing) but moved house and got over it. I now only do Colmar Brunton Flybuys surveys due to a lack of time. My points are automatically converted into New World dollars. Been a good survey week. 40 Flybuy points earned so far.

      Sweet, thanks for that list. I do the Colmar Brunton polls as well when I feel bothered. Most of the time when I go to do it a week later it's closed already haha.

      I'll be honest, I do too many to count haha. On average, perhaps half an hour a day is spent doing surveys.

    Opinionworld is great I think, you need 1000 points to redeem a $20 paypal gift card, there are a few surveys every day ranging from 25 points - 75 points. I've gotten to 1000 points but it says I need to verify my Paypal account so I gotta do that so I'm not sure how fast they pay yet.

    Just gotta chime in and say thanks @SO442! I'm more than happy to use referral codes for quality write-ups like this!

    I've already made about $50 from just doing surveys during downtime/boring meetings at work haha.

    My ratings:

    1) Valuedopinions is definitely the best, and is updated with new surveys throughout the day (made $33.50 so far).

    2) Pureprofile is pretty good too, but I find that I'm ineligible for a lot of the surveys ($17.85 made)

    3) Rewardia seems alright, you make points instead of $ - 1000 points = $1. There's just a whole bunch of $0.20-0.30 surveys that don't really seem worth it, but some good ones (6192 / $6.20ish made)

    4) Pollpay seems sucky - always ineligible so I get $0.01 participation, so I've only made $0.05 lol

    Others:

    Attapoll - cbf downloading an app, way better just using PC

    any ex-Smilecity members here? Any original members remember how they used to do 5 free txts, had their own news board n forums, clicks to earn points.
    I recommend an app called Influence, it used to be called Voxpopme and you may be able to still search Voxpopme in the app store.

    They have questions which usually pay out 80c per video recording and each recording is under 1min.
    You record yourself answering the question they ask and you redeem to Paypal once you reach $20.
    Its so quick and easy compared to doing surveys (which I still do)

    You know what really grinds my gears though?
    Surveys that take you up to 80 to 90% which you've spent somewhere around 30mins to have it tell you you don't qualify.
    Remember to write a complaint about those ones with Pureprofile and ValuedOpinions and they usually reimburse you, but thats enough to put me off doing them for a while. If you ever come across this particular survey from Neilson its one where it feels like they've bunched up 10 surveys into one and you spend what feels like an hour to give up because its so long, or end up rushing it in desperation to finish it only to have it bar you at the end as it detects you're rushing it.

    Octopus recently opened up to NZ this year. They're an Aussie company which pays a lot more compared to others. I was with them when I was in Australia and redeemed a few times. I've joined in NZ, they don't seem to be getting much surveys yet but I'm hopeful they do.

    Just a word of caution about Valued Opinions.
    I was receiving random errors and timeouts in some of the surveys so i emailed them.
    Their response was my account had been flagged due to accuracy and attentiveness issues and have suspended my account immediately.
    Not sure where i went wrong as i answered all questions legitimately and passed all qc checks.

    Anyway my rookie mistake and warning to you is to redeem your credit for rewards as soon as you can because if your account is ever suspended, you’re unable to redeem and will lose out on anything accumulated.

    Rewards for value opinions not as good anymore used to be able to get liquorland vouchers through gift pay. Would be good if did paypal
