Your Feedback on Warehouse Money Card

I've been thinking about getting warehouse money card for a while and upon quick search realized that it was acquired by Finance now sometime back. Few questions if any fellow cheapie can kindly answer:

  1. Can we still get a new warehouse money card that can give 5% discount on all orders from warehouse?

  2. If you have one, how is your experience with this card?

  3. Is there an online apply link?

  4. How generous and quick are they in approving new applications?

  5. Lastly, do you think it is worth it?

Thank you for your time :)

I cannot see a "Apply Now" button on their website warehousemoney.co.nz, so I assume online application is closed? Just head to a store, I am sure you can apply in-store.

My experience with Warehouse Money card is great. No annual fee, 5% off on all The Warehouse orders, and occasional specials, why not?

My credit records are perfect, so I always got approved for a new credit card within few days. This card is no exemption, I got approved within few days with a $4000 credit limit that I would never need from a store credit card.

To use it on online and in-app shopping, just select "Warehouse Money Card" as payment option, you will be automatically charged at 5% off price. Instore is much easier, pay wave, your invoice will be automatically deducted by 5%.

Some occasional specials are the bonus, like $20 gift card at Noel Leeming if you spend over $300, I price matched something and then use Warehouse Money to pay. I got additional $20 gift card posted to my home later.

    • Thank you, I will give it a go when I'm in store next time

An important point to note is that the Warehouse Money Card benefits are being discontinued as at 1st March 2022 and being replaced with a card with a $55 annual fee and a comparatively miserly 1% reward. No longer worth having.

5% discount is literally the only reason to have the card haha

      • yep that's the only reason.. otherwise why would someone even bother with them

  • Didn't they make some changes after they sold the company about a year or so ago? Where they tried to charge an annual fee, but then many people cancelled, and they reversed this decision? Looks like they have flip flopped again. No choice but to now cancel it. May wait until the end of the free period to do this unless there are fishhooks.
