!! I have modified this post to an 'available in the app' version. My guess is that TWH are trying to remove the ability to use these codes through a browser or the website and these codes are severely playing up. We may have had too much fun doubling up codes these past few weeks.

    Still keen to hear from anyone that knows anything about scripts and whether it's possible to figure out the last four letters of each code prior to their public availability 😄. I know nothing about Javascript etc.

        They recently changed the codes from giveit-twl-5off50-210721 to giveit-twl-5off50-JSOA. Before, you could guess codes for the week after because a lot of them were repeated. All you had to do was change the date to the day of release. Codes tend to get released on a Thursday/Friday, so the codes for next week could be used along with the codes for this week.

        Considering the fact that codes such as 5 off 50 appear quite frequently (and will most likely be available again next week), is it possible to create a script? that cycles through the alphabet until it lands on the correct four letter combination?

          That's 456976 combinations in total. I don't think their system will let you try that much.

            @xsolider: Yes, that's what I was thinking as well. Also, even if you have a script how do you test this to figure out correct combination? I doubt they have some open link like api to test this.

          If there's a pattern to the codes it should become guessable in time, i.e. it maybe generated from a date/week/month code.

            @taeken: Doubtful, as they moved away from 6 digit date value to 4 random characters. Most likely a random algorithm to generate the code, but I hope I am wrong.

              @ace310: Probably some salted hash of the date.

              Might be able to crack it given we know multiple (likely) inputs and outputs, and the hash is so short (only 4 characters). You wouldn't have to hit their servers with that approach

          I work with coupon codes in my job and it seems like they have general use coupons and also special deal coupons that are generated/allowed to be used a certain amount of times before it's expired.

          I could probably write a script to spam the web promo code section to guess a code. But at this point I don't know if it'll apply the discount based on what you have in your cart or only allowed in app or whatever.

    Put 2 x Sistema Storage Organiser Clear 90L in the cart. It shows $50 as a multibuy deal. giveit-twl-5off50-JSOA says not valid and giveit-15off-sistema-RWAX says already redeemed?

      Get Warehouse to Price Promise with Spotlight, it'll make the price $41.58 for two. If you do it via chat you may even be able to stack the Giveit code on top.

      Edit: OfficeMax is cheaper, would make it $38.58 for two after Price Promise.

    Says invalid coupon code when I tried the toys code in incognito mode on a BOGOH price bundle. Perhaps the 4 digits at the end of the codes are wrong or single use only now?

      Yes confirmed that codes are no longer working, also tried in two different accounts where coupon codes are not yet redeemed. I tried giveit-twl-5off50-JSOA and giveit-10off-toys-SPWB. Does it seem that codes are now unique per account?

        Looks like they removed the locations from Give-it in 'my account'. When I added back one of the give-it locations the discounts went back (from TWH app)

    Seems to be a few issues here. Either they've made them one use only, or the system is playing up. Going to expire deal while I figure out the answer.

    I have removed the expiry and edited the post. These codes are still available in the app. The text versions, however, are not. Will keep testing hoping for a breakthrough.

      Just tried, need to sign up with giveit if you haven't done so. Also the sistema code doesn't apply to the large storage boxes.

      Dang. To be fair I think they never intended the codes to be used on the website. Will be a sad day if they only work in store or on the app though
