  • Thanks picked one up. $1.50 for shipping pretty good too

  • Thanks, this is a great deal given you get free upgrade to the PS5 version when it releases

  • Thanks, got one! Will be great to play on PS5.

  • Mean, got myself a copy. Thanks OP.

Is this meme of a game even worth $10 at this point

    • And will this load on my Xbox? 😂

    • Yeah was wondering this myself. I think for $10 it's worth nabbing, purely (if not only) for the free upgrade to PS5 when it's released later this year… supposedly. Bit of a gamble but a safe one given the small price involved.

  • It's a shame the pc version isn't this price, but I suppose there's a reason for the sale - it runs at 30fps capped on ps4 and doesn't consistently even hit that, and apparently runs at a dynamic resolution between 720-900p, all this while presumably also running on low presets. Probably a good deal for PS5 owners though

    • Good investment for once the ps5 upgrade comes out

  • Dead? Page not found

  • Link down so deal has now expired

  • How much is the margin on games if they are able to sell it at $10? Isn't RRP something like $80-$100?

    • are you even able to buy Cyberpunk on the PS Store these days? Probably just getting rid of the stock

    • They sell at a loss to move old stock, game be fine on next gen consoles.

Not 800% - 900% I know that much. I ran a gaming store from '97 to 02' and our markup on non sale titles was roughly 30%, you add gst into the mix and there was bugger all left over to keep the lights turned on. Can't imagine margins have improved much for retailers since then, especially with all the competition there is now forcing most companies to discount below rrp.

  • The price temporarily went back up to $84 but is seemingly gone again now. Keen to hear if people have had their orders cancelled or not.

Got an email saying mine is all ready to pick up, going to go and get it soon.

I wondered that, xbox variant should have gone for $10 too if they wanted to get rid of old stock.

  • Looks like it was a pricing error, got an email stating so but sounds like they will honor the price.

    • Yea its back up to $84.

    My order was shipped. Sweet

    • Same. Expected them to cancel tbh

    • My order status on the site says shipped but there is no tracking number. Did you get an email with a tracking number?

      • +1

JB Hifi sends them out a few hours after. Got my courierpost tracking and it's on route overnight delivery.

        • Yep got mine now 😁

  • Picked it up from JB in Dunedin, girl behind the counter said "You know what's funny? It wasn't meant to be that price it was a mistake!" and I innocently replied "Really? Nice of you to honor it" and she said "We have to", which is wrong they don't have to honor obvious pricing mistakes they can ask me to pay the difference or cancel and refund, but I wasn't going to tell her that.

Seeing as I haven't snagged a PS5 yet I'm gonna give it a go on my PS Pro, apparently after the 1.2 patch PS Pro is about on par with the Series S performance wise.

If only they honored the pricing error on their surface laptops haha
