and the second-hand market is still high. 1070s on TradeMe still going for $350+; 1060s 3GB for $200 minimum.
Didnt expect them to hold so much value, I bought my GTX 1070 like 3 years ago for ~$550 just before the bitcoin surge, I thought I was paying too much but this was the cheapest sale I saw at time, now GPUs are going for 1k+ easily!

Even though I own PS1>PS4, I don't see the value proposition in the PS5 currently. $850 for the console and $140 for the games? I may as well buy another sealed copy of God Hand on PS2 :)
$140 for a game? There are only two games listed on Price Spy over $140 and one is a deluxe edition and the other is a gold edition (which are also the same prices for the PS4 version). A lot of the games, including upcoming ones are going for less than $100 such as Village ($95), Riders Republic ($95), and Back 4 Blood ($89).
Check out mighty ape (australia site) and maybe look into getting a US psn account for better deals if you're interested.
I've got the disc version and love it. Been playing my old PS4 games (Days Gone at the moment) and hoping to use it as a 4K blu ray player down the line. Haven't bought any PS5 games yet though, waiting on Miles Morales to drop further in price.
I didn't manage to even look into it before it gets sold out but isn't RRP for Disc version suppose to be $819? Now even mightyape learnt to charge more for it?
