Kaiser Baas $400 off E-scooters (Revo E1 250 watt Scooter $399 + Shipping)

30

Great promo deal on Kaiser Baas e-scooters. $400 off for two options to choose from:

Revo E1 - $399 after $400 discount
Revo E3 - $599 after $400 discount

See the attached link for more details. Have used their other quality products such as the dashcam.

Kaiser Baas is one of the world’s most trusted and respected adventure technology brands. Leading the way with innovative, quality products to create a complete range to suit every lifestyle and budget.

Only gripe I thought initially would be returns and repairs incase on any issues with the e-scooter and also possible excise duty fees if shipped from Australia. However, after emailing their support team, this is the response I got:

"Our products ship from the country they are purchased in, so in your case from our distributor in Auckland. Warranty is through Kaiser Baas and is supported by the local distributor and we have partnerships with a handful of scooter repairers in each region who can assist with repairs etc.

Hope this info helps :)
Kind Regards,

Kaiser Baas Support"

Great deal compared to Xiaomi, some good reviews for both version of scooters on their website.

How does this compare to Ninebot or Xiaomi scooters?

I mean, $499 isn't really that much cheaper than either of those. At normal price of $799, you might as well just get a Xiaomi, which at full price is around $599 or $699 if I remembered correctly…

No authorized dealers or stores means you'll end up spending more to do a simple repair.

When something is super popular, parts become cheap and it's easy to find support. You need a new tyre for Xiaomi or Ninebot? Get them on Aliexpress or Ebay or anywhere else. You need an asscessory that is compatible with Xiaomi or Ninebot? You got it.

Regular firmware updates? You got it. You can even install custom firmware and use apps on Google Play or XDA Developers to downgrade or tweak the settings. Tons of support.

  • I went a step further and bought a xiaomi scooter 1s model for 450 2nd hand but near new (5km on internal odo meter). Cheapie to the max.

Just to update, Kaiser Baas went a step further and now offering $400 discount off Revo E1 and E3 e-scooters. So the discounted prices now are below:

    Revo E1 - $399
    Revo E3 - $599

I have emailed their helpdesk to ask about any authorised dealers or mechanic shop/s we can take the e-scooter to in NZ incase of any unforeseen repairs, issues that may arise during warranty period. Will update you guys accordingly. Cheers
