    Pros No,Cons yes,The already installed antivirus malware program is better,Norton is like a malware as it tries to upsell you further unnecessary security software ,Cloud storage etc .Can be difficult to fully uninstall as it sometimes cannot be completely removed from the registry and then you have to completely reinstall windows again to get rid of it.Uses a lot of unnecessary animations and pop-ups which can slow your computer down.If you download free software pirated games and movies , unknown mail attachments at some stage you will get Malware and possibly a virus if you ignore the antivirus warnings. The best antivirus program is yourself.

            @Sean: Question I answered was about installing antivirus so you're completely wrong Apple has its own security as you should know and if you want to turn off " App Store and identified developers" yes you may get viruses but they're pretty few and far between.With an Apple computer you have to physically download the program from site rather than it decided itself .A lot of viruses or malware cannot be stopped by any sort of Antivirus software if you open that attachment or download software.There's plenty of businesses around the country with Higher forms of security being hacked from opened attachments by unsuspecting Office staff . Of course you gonna say now that thousands of Apple Computers have been infected with viruses over the years and that's true but they are usually targeted and Apple works on security patches all the time.At any one time there are literally millions of Windows computers infected with viruses and malware and that's the difference .The best antivirus program is yourself !
