What's the point of The Market when you go to their site and products that are available in their own online stores aren't listed.
For example I need some Shimano H03C brake pads, available at Torpedo 7 but not The Market. Looking at Dyson vacuum cleaner, available at Noel Leeming but not The Market.
Isn't The Market meant to simplify shopping, this just adds an extra website you have to check.
I wonder if its a place for them to offload stuff, dumping ground and/or specific specials (probably backed by manufacturer/distributors promos)? I wonder if they put the higher margin items on The Market to offset the discounts the visitors to that site expect? Then the other stuff that moves on a regular frequency, potentially with lower margins remains on their own sites.
But yeah its frustrating; I usually avoid The Market like the plague, only going there when there is a specific coupon which benefits me. Otherwise I just stay on the main retailers website.
