The Watchmen is free to watch this weekend.

Watchmen premiered nine months before the recent mass protests against systemic racism and police brutality happened around the world, but the show feels more timely than ever. Now, HBO is making the entire nine-episode series available to anyone to watch for free this weekend.
The network is making the episodes free as “an extension of the network’s content offering highlighting Black experiences, voices and storytellers,” according to a press release, adding that HBO is proud to offer the “timely, poignant series that explores the legacy of systemic racism in America” to anyone who wants to watch

      It wasn’t cancelled, Damon Lindelof (creator, writer) is currently not writing or pursuing a second season. This series wraps itself up in 9 episodes - it’s a fantastic continuation of the comics if you are a fan.

    Really enjoyed this show. It was written to be a single season. It wraps up really well, like an extended movie. It starts a bit slow and confusing- it helps if you have read the comic.

      Agreed - episode 6, This Extraordinary Being, is absolute perfection in the Watchmen world. It’s a shame that Moore doesn’t watch adaptations of his work, I think he would love this.
